Roadster Unveil

Above the clouds  driven by emotion. Unveiling to you the new Eccentrica V12 Roadster.

Eccentrica, the restomod house making one of the most compelling cases in automotive for the art of reinvention, has unveiled its second creation, the Eccentrica V12 Roadster. An open-air evolution of the original Eccentrica V12, the Roadster is a comprehensive re-engineering of the first-series Lamborghini Diablo that transforms a 1990s icon into the analogue supercar its creators would dream of today.

Founded by Emanuel Colombini, entrepreneur and Lamborghini collector, Eccentrica was built on an exacting promise to take the first-series Lamborghini Diablo apart and rebuild it without compromise, developing more than 3,500 bespoke components per vehicle and reconstructing every system from the ground up. The V12 Roadster, created in partnership with Milan-based design studio Borromeo De Silva, is the natural evolution of that first model, going a step further to transform the car into its most elemental and purposeful form yet.

“The Eccentrica V12 was our opening statement. The Roadster is the next chapter; more exposed, more immediate, more demanding. No roof. No filter. Nothing between you and the machine", shares Founder Emanuel Colombini. The heart of the V12 Roadster consists of a re-engineered 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12, revised to deliver sharper throttle response, greater elasticity and a more immediate power delivery. Through ECU recalibration, improved thermal management and optimized airflow efficiency, the engine produces 550 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, thus preserving the character of the original while introducing a level of precision only achievable through modern engineering. Top speeds reach a splintering 208mph and a six-speed gated manual gearbox celebrates driver involvement, all while three distinct driving modes offer configurations for every road.

Eccentrica’s team of experts, led by Maurizio Reggiani, former Chief Technical Officer of Lamborghini and the architect of the Murciélago, Gallardo, Aventador, and Huracán, have crafted the body of the V12 Roadster entirely in steel and carbon fiber, with a widened track and recalibrated proportions that create a more planted posture while preserving the unmistakable silhouette of the original. During development, a dedicated aerodynamic study was carried out to manage airflow around the open cabin, ensuring that removing the roofwould amplify the experience rather than compromise it. Beneath the bodywork, the original platform has been re-engineered with carbon fiber structural reinforcements, redesigned suspension geometry, and a custom semi-active damper system. The result is a car that feels lighter, faster, and more connected, with hydraulic steering and a modern Brembo braking system to ensure that every nuance of the road remains alive in the driver's hands.

Inside the Eccentrica V12 Roadster, Connolly leather, Alcantara fabrics, anodized materials, and exposed carbon fiber combine to create an interior shaped as much by touch as by appearance. Each individually configured through a bespoke tailoring process in partnership with its owner, every V12 Roadster will be uniquely crafted, with only nineteen ever to be built. With this debut, Eccentrica brings together the craftsmanship, engineering rigor, and singular vision that have defined the brand from the outset, delivering a second model that is at once a natural progression and a significant step forward.

The Eccentrica V12 Roadster will be physically unveiled to the public for the very first time on August 14th, 2026, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
